Man Robs Local Pharmacy
Yesterday, Robert Andrews robbed a local pharmacy near Hazleton. After the robbery Andrews stole a car and drove towards interstate 81. Police quickly caught up with him and he was arrested. According to police he broke at least 16 statutes, from misdemeanors like driving without a seatbelt to felonies like shooting the cleerk in the pharmacy and grand theft auto. Andrews has already had a few civil law cases in the past and according to criminal law Andrews may be put in jail for 2-3 years because of his civil disobedience.Crime rates in Hazleton have been on the rise for the past year and many citizens are worried. Carly Rossi lives on the same block as the pharmacy, she told us that "People don't seem to care about the laws that we need to follow. It's like these criminals don't have any morals at all." It is clear that something needs to be done about the crime in the Hazleton Area.
